B25 Mitchell 'Tondelayo' - 100% Crop

Ahoy!
Please take a look at the image link. It's a 100% crop of a section of the B25 Mitchell 'Tondelayo'. I'm amazed at the detail and clarity. Taken with Sony A700 + Sigma 17-70mm DC.

Hiya Pirate, I'm always happy to have a look at a B25, especially one with a couple of .50 Brownings sticking out the sharp end. Yep really great detail, the general look too me though is just a tiny bit cloudy looking, I'm not sure if I'm imagining things or not. It might be a tad of flare maybe not sure, but I did enjoy the photo just the same.

You can see the clouds as reflections in the cockpit, so yes it was cloudy but clear. Thanks for looking Greg

Very intimidating, those guns are. Nice image and I felt it a bit "hazy" on monitor too.
How did the habit of painting those "pinups" on these war birds come about? Just curious. I have seen quite a few and seem to be WWII phenomenon.
