Great nature shots, Lonnie! : )

I can almost hear the sound of water's flow and fall, feel the fresh scents of the wet moss and dead leaves!

Very photogenic spot Lonnie, lots of leaves evident, fall is near I presume. The flowing water looks like snow almost...maybe a tad too flowing perhaps? does create the impression though, and not unpleasing. I like the little creek place you found.

ps. The yellow at the top in the last, was that due to the long exposure? I'm assuming you would have had too expose for quite a while for that flowing effect.

Lovely shots Lonnie The first two are favourites. A great spot and I love the start of autumn colours.

What a beautiful series, Lonnie. I Like the compositions of #2 and #4 the best, because they give a nice sense of the wider scene. I'm jealous of the colors, I have a while to wait here in Texas. That is if it doesn't go straight to dead and brown!! John

Good shots Lonnie. You can always win me over with shots of moving water at slow shutter speeds. It just makes everything seem magical.

I went back the next day and reshot. Scottie (my wife) was surprised at the comactness of the location.

And found a new spot "right next door"

These are even more lovely than the first bunch for better composition. You've discovered some lovely spots for autumn season which offer variety and a mixture of all colours.

I can't pick a favourite but can definitely say that you used the light condition to your advantage in these shots with good exposure control. : )

Yep nice photos of a babbling brook, will it get frozen in winter? or is it too far south.?

Hi Lonnie - the new ones are crackers as well . The detail visible in them is amazing, especially when you consider the long shutter speed. I especially like #2 and #3 in the second set, with the colour of the fallen leaves and rocks in the foreground.

These will be under METERS of snow in the winter. The mountains here average 13 Meters of snow each winter. I might be able to get back to them in the winter, but it would take a snowmobile....

Is it very far to get there? it would be interesting to see it after the snow got on it, from similar viewpoints, but there would come a point where you wouldn't be able too get a shot I guess, too cold, snow too deep, it might even be dangerous if a blizzard came.
