And a couple of characters I met along the way...

I've got a few more to work over, but this really wasn't a photo trip. Lots of noise in the storm pic. It's right out of the camera with NR turned off. Going to be hard to get that one right....

This is an "open" thread so feel free to add ones of your own...

Those are good ones, Lonnie.

I'll wait until after deer season to show you what I shot on the weekend!

I like the one with stars in it, don't care about the noise. All the rest are great also, especially like the Canyonland sunset.
Greg

ps. Dusty I'm sorta hoping that means a shot of a live Bambi.

Hey Lonnie!

Thanks for sharing the wonderful bunch! : )) Wonderful places and native remnants...

The last photo isn't bad either. : ) I like your tripod which just reminded me that I needed a new and more versatile one for good measure. Also a good one to showcase the lenghts a photographer goes to for a photo that's beautiful and makes sense.

Love the portraits for the selection of interesting faces that are embroidered with lifelines...some good faces and interesting expressions.

We can handle more....so, you know what to do. :D

Hi Lonnie,

Love your pics,
I think a weakly "What do I shot this week 43-2010" thread could be interesting for all of us... who want's to organize it?

Regards

Hi Pako, :)

Indeed a good suggestion to yield a prosperous thread!

My suggestion would be that, for the sake of practicality and if Lonnie approves, he can always change the topic of this thread just as you proposed, Pako.

This thread already appears to have started strong with Lonnie's recent uploads, so why not continue from here?
