I recently went to my first night shoot at a local air museum and took 100 images, all of which were keepers.

Hi Sploosher,

Yet an other good set. A good time of the day to capture some interesting depths to the beyonds by choosing the sky and the dark clouds as background for these well-lighted aircrafts.

Dusk as the time of day contributes to the spirit of 'flying' and I think fulfills the concept that pertains to everything related to flight. The dark silhouettes of empty cockpits poking their way into the concrete airfield, against the last beam of light from the horizon adds a tad of enigma and sense of abandonment as well.

Different from the previous sessions for sure. Thanks for sharing. : )

Hi Sploosher - I like the night shots . Interesting that you have the Buccaneer that flew from the previous Ark Royal just as they annouce they're scapping the "new" one, and the Harriers that replaced the Buccaneers! Is it a sign of getting old when you can remember the same ship being decommissioned more than once?

I like the first shot best, as it has some kind of dynamic view, a sort of action shot.

Not bad shots of historical planes, they came out pretty good I think. Do I spy a Lightning over in the background in #1?
