I guess you took your pics at high ISO, am I right??
I liked the sharpness demonstrated in the first and third pics and I liked the second pic's art the best.
I really like the lens you took the photos!!

She has some beautiful and striking facial features that are more prominent than others, like the curve to her lips and the greenish eyes.

You did well to concentrate on these features by playing the light quite subtily on them. The second shot from the top has a fashion-magazine coverage appeal. You certainly appear to be aware of such existing shots and studied them well. : )

I think we'll see even more interesting and original ones as you warm up to this type of photography or any other for that matter.

Making good use of Daddy's lenses indeed, by the way! : )

The A55 certainly takes a good photograph. I like the lighting in the second last.

We have them both, the ROKINON 85/1.4 and the SONY 85/2.8 SAM, but I guess I prefer the second one, due to AF.
Sometimes I use them both.
