Just what we need to look forward to (the view from my window, with solid grey skies and plopping rain and old bits of melting snow and mud - does't reallt encourage photography!).

Yep, I remember that day well (first photo), the sea really was that colour, it was hot and clear, and later on that day I saw a few basking sharks just around the headland, (the other side of that distant beach), reminds us that the sun will shine again soon
Same day, anyone that can stand here on a day like this and feel no emotion has no soul
and I liked this (different day)

Hi Vaughan, great images to remind us of the summer. I especially like the cliff top views with wild flowers etc looking over the clear rocky sea shore. Is a love of the shore, where sea land and sky seem to meet, something that is learnt, or is it something more fundamental in our make-up?

Amazing beautiful scenery, Vaughan. : )
Each one is a caharmer in its own right....The shade of blue that makes the ocean look like a gem is unique.
Thanks for sharing,
Yildiz

Very nice shots Vaughan scenery is quite similar to the west of Ireland though the weather is a million miles away (as in bad most of the time!)

Spring is coming soon! 3 months, officially, but in as little as 2 months I hope to see the flowers start to sprout!

Yes, your seasons roughly follow ours I think, I am walking a large section of the South West coastal footpath again this spring/summer, and so I will have plenty to photograph on the way...I will post a few here throughout the summer
Heres a couple from Newquay to remind us of summertime
