


Greg, in retrospect, the VIVID setting wasnt a great idea here, but with some PP they look great, these were virtually straight out of the cam, too much contrast, but I think the a100 is pretty good for shadow detail in general, I have had issues with later models (A300 and even NEX3) wrt dense shadow....IQ wise (in reasonable light) I think the a100 is still very good and net really any worse than the most modern sensors...hey, and it was a steal on E-BayGreg Beetham wrote:Nice work, (although I'm not sure I like the VIVID setting myself), the only drawback to the A100 (I wouldn't part with mine), is you can't go chasing shadow detail too much.
