Shots with Sony a55, Minolta 50mm f1.7

Unread post by Anne_LilyofTheValley »

Hello,

this is my second photos by new a55 camera. This time I tried to shoot with Minolta 50mm f1.7.

I did some editing in first two shots. Your comments and advice are appreciated. Thank you.

Anna

Very nice photographs, Anna.

For someone who has been taking photos for such a short time - very, VERY nice photos!

How can you say that David???

Just look at the ghost flames above the actual candle flame in the first photo! They are huge!

Hi Anna,

Minolta 50mm f1.7 is an excellent lens that provides good and bright frames. Lovely set. : )

Hi Anna, :)

You're getting better and better in composition and subject framing in corralation to its surroundings.
I like the not-overdone pose of the lovely friend of yours. The white shirt stands out while contrasting nicely with her curling dark locks of hair against the greyish surroundings.

Good one with this lens. : )

Anna, that's a very beautiful shot. What I like most is how the tree with its branch and the wall on the right create create a nice frame. But, that small line of black at the right of the wall is a bit distracting, don't you think?
How about cropping it just a bit?
And I really hope David won't tell me I'm wrong...
