Hi Caporip. Love the sky and another great b&w conversion. Was this picture taken while at sea?

I guess this is in Scotland so it would appear to be in the Cromarty Firth near Invergordon. I have seen these oil drilling platforms several times. They are very distinct. The Cromarty Firth seems to be a parking place for them. This is a very good and moody picture in B&W.
Here is a picture I took of a drilling rig moored outside the town of Cromarty on the Black Isle here in Scotland. This location is actually the mouth of Cromarty Firth where it joins Moray Firth. Taken in 2005 with my X700 and 70-200 Sigma Apo zoom.

Hi Alphaomega, another nice pic. I like the contrast of th rig against the tree-lined shore.

Thanks Caporip. I like the rolling hills in the latest ones.
