Hi CharlieWebster, : )

Nice car, loaded with promises of a good ski holiday. I like the Black&White look, although I think that car might as well be red in reality. If only that white pole wasn't so obscuring on the right of the photo...

Thanks for sharing,

Yildiz

Ah, a better colour; night-blue. : )

It's a very sleek and smooth rider no doubt. Love the mountain holiday shots!

Thanks for sharing the colour versions.

The rich showing off  I wonder how much energy you would save by cancelling your ski holiday

Well I'm not rich or on holiday, nor is it my car.

I live here as many do in the mountains of france. We of course would starve without the folks on holiday.

We can all sell our computers and cameras and it would save lots too.

I think it's nice to see a sports car that does not use gasoiline.

Pretty gutsy taking a Tesla on a ski vacation. I like it!

Yep nice photos, the lenses do a very good job.
The greenies seem to approve of those electric cars, but they probably cause as much pollution as an ordinary car. The electricity to recharge them has to be produced by some means, nuclear or coal fired power station, and then there is the pollution caused by the production of the batteries and re-cycling the batteries when they need replacing?

The production of everything causes pollution. That's no argument against electric cars. Almost anything is better than oil. I think the guy said this one goes 260 miles on less than $5 of electricity. A single charge. Ridicule of such performance reminds me of how film lovers talk about digital.

I'm not trying to be pro internal combustion engine, I'm just saying these electric cars haven't convinced me yet. They might be fine as an expensive second car for the average commuter or going to the grocery shop etc. but here in Oz with hundreds and hundreds of kilometers of empty space with no recharge stations they aren't practical for anything else than just that.
Thing is, that car has 6,871 Lithium ion cells that cost more than $20,000 dollars (possibly more, depending on where you obtain the replacements) and have a service life of around 5 years; by the fourth year the cells will produce 20% less, thus you will have to find a recharge station 20% sooner than before.
Greg

ps. And what is wrong with film anyway, at least there is more truth and honesty in film than there is in digital.
