Some shots from recent trips to the Great Glen In Scotland..

Since some of these shots were taken my brother has become world distance casting champion. I know these may have a limited audience but i do like them, A700 going strong ( apart from pretty severe back focus issues) thats another story to be continued......

Hi Highlandsnappet, nice series. I bet your brother is pleased with them. I especially like the wide view, rainbow shot as it gives a great view of the surrounding area putting the fisherman in context. In some of the pictures, where your brother ha something on the line, I find my eye drawn from the frame as we can't see the other end of the line. Perhaps this normal convention.

Yep me too, I like the rainbow scene, great shot, and I like the one where it looks like he's releasing a fish also, both of those especially. And yes I agree with Birma, the line goes off-page on quite a few shots where you can't see if there is any activity at the end of it, sort of leaves one in suspense a bit, but I guess they are like some magazine cover shots or advert type shots I've seen just the same.
Lovely looking stream, plenty of flow at the moment.
