Sorry for this but I just love the handheld, motion blurred shots of carnival rides. Move to the next thread if we are not of like minds.

Nice set JBT. They have a nice abstract feel to them. I especially like the 4th where you can make out the word hustle, but the man is doing anything but hustling!
If the last thing you remember hearing is somebody yelling 'CLEAR!!!', assume you've had a problem!!
a77, a700, a200, Minolta 8000i, NEX C3, NEX 5N and more lenses than my wife suspects!
#2 is my favorite as well Doc. Thanks.
As for #4, I could not resist the irony. Thanks for noticing Juanito200.
Always good to get a nod from you Yildiz.
Yeah I really like the last one too, he's got a hustle happening but don't try to give him any cash ha ha. I also like the one with the three white streaks accross it, not sure exactly why.

Thanks Greg and Birma.
That unknown factor is why I like taking and looking at these images. In some sense it is planned (composition) but the long shutter speed gives a great number of options for the end result. Others tell me what these shapes remind them of. I don't see it but am glad they do. Lastly, I was trying to get shots with still humans to contrast the sections of movement in the frame. Images 2 and 3 are examples with the 3rd being the best representation of my efforts. The white streaks seem to deliver me to the space where he is and then I must condiser his stillness. Am I thinking about this too much?
