The moon shot is great & my pick of the three

Like picking puppies out of a litter. They all look great but I am taking the first two home with me.
I am thinking about getting the Sony 70-400mm G. What are your thoughts?

I would 100% recommend it, no hesitation. basically beg steal or borrow the required $$!

Great to see your pictures of one of my favourite photo destinations .

I love the walk out to Waternish Point and have done it many times, so this one gets my vote!

Yep me too, well taken shots, the B&W is great with that fortuitous rain squall in the background and a great moon shot also, but I'm sort of having a little trouble getting orientated with the church window one because the foreground opening looks like a door, and the one in the distance looks like a window but I can't figure out what is in the frame, glass or or is it something else; I guess it's actually a ruin is that right?

Yes it is a ruin the bit inside is an inset tombstone - just liked the convergence!

Just a quick comment that I also have had very good results with the Sony 70-400 G lens. I wasn't convinced that a zoom telephoto could be very sharp, so I took it out to a large parking lot and compared it to my Minolta 600mm prime. For stability, they were mounted on a Wimberly II head and a Gitzo GT5541LS (i.e., heavy duty) tripod. I shot a series of printed signs, vehicles, and other objects at various distances that I could objectively evaluate for sharpness. The the 70-400 G did very well. I like to do action photography, and the the 70-400 focuses very fast, silently, and accurately. For examples, see the following two galleries. All these photos were shot with this lens, ~300-400mm, hand-held, on an a900. In addition, they are heavily cropped--an acid test of the lens performance for my purposes.
