About a month ago we took a day trip to a zoo about 240 kilometers from where we live.
Some nice animals there, the Firefox was particularly interested in the kids and adults watching him/her

Nice picture Zeb - I like the detail on the Firefox's head.
(Is this how the popular browser got its name?)

Yes, I think so but I'm not sure and cannot find any source right now.

Thanks Doc

No, I don't own any of the beercan lenses. It was taken with Tammy SP 70-300mm f/4-5.6 Di USD.

Well, the interest of the Firefox is genuine indeed; showing cleary all over his face and jaws.
Nice observation, Sebastian.
Must be very alert species from the looks hence the naming of the namesake browser, I suppose; for being fast, alert and quick in taking action. (Just a thought)
Thanks for sharing,
Yildiz

Actually, it was originally the Firebird browser, with a Phoenix as the logo. Reason being it was a resurrection of the Netscape browser, w/o the add-ons. However, that conflicted with the Firebird Database name (it's self a resurrection of the Borland Interbase DB) and a name change was in order.
So much for software history. Nice shot, Zeb!
