This is a panorama of 44 images stitched on Microsoft ICE. The image was taken handheld from Michelangelo point in Florence. I had a 8X72 inch print made and the details are very good. Needless to say, good thing I had a 32Gb card and a 500GB portable drive with me.
With best regards,
Sury

What a lovely view Sury and a pretty amazing panorama. I'm looking forward to going back there when our daughter is a bit older and may appreciate looking at the art a bit longer

. The last time we went I had a bit of a language gaff in the ice cream shop and ended up with an ice-cream cone nearly as big as my head - it was very tasty though

Like it Sury, hope to go there one day. I've tried 30+ image panos not easy.

Birma and Steve,
Thank you. I did take about dozen panoramas and probably will post them over time. Having a 500Gb portable drive is a blessing.

Amazing getting that many images into memory all at once, my computer gets a vapour lock doing a 3 image pan. but I think it's probably an Elements problem more than anything. Pretty good shooting to get them all lined up that well hand held too.
