Good photos! Mesa Verde NP (national park) is great! I have been there a couple of times, in 1999 and 2010. Cool place!

Agreed. There are also some ruins on the top of the mesa that are interesting, although they do not begin to approach the spectacle of the ruins underneath the cliff overhang.

Have you been to Canyon de Chelly National Monument? Much more difficult to reach, but at least as spectacular and interesting, in my opinion.

Yes, the ones built into the cliffs are amazing. I don't recall seeing the ones on top of the mesa though.

On our long road trip in 2009 we visited Canyon de Chelly National Monument among many other places. I posted a bit about it and photos in this thread:
