We went to New Mexico without really planning to go to either of these churches. Surprisingly, both are fairly well known. El Santuario de Chimayo is in a small town full of wonderfully kind people, while San Francisco de Asis is outside of Taos. Here is another picture of San Francisco de Asis

New Mexico is a delight.
