Coal Mine Threatens Bryce Canyon National Park

Unread post by Lonnie Utah »

The Bureau of Land Management is on the verge of approving a massive 3,500 acre strip coal mine right next to Bryce Canyon National Park that would operate 24 hours a day, 6 days a week, polluting Bryce's air, water and quiet seclusion. Please spend a moment and click the link below to have you comments submitted to the BLM.

Save Bryce Canyon from a proposed coal mine

And don't forget to share this link on your FB page and in other social media outlets.

Thanks,

It’s a wonder they don’t want to use the canyon as an overburden/tailings dump. (There doesn’t seem to be any avenue for anyone outside the US to lodge an objection)
