In an earlier post in Sony Alpha 100-900 "Getting used to A77" I commented on my experience of using the A77 during a tour of part of Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh and I thought I would post some images from that trip.

I like em all, the first two are unmistakeably Indian of course and the last could be in a few places perhaps but it definitely has atmosphere, good one.

Hi Ossie, : )
Nice shots of India. I like them all naturally but I especially appreciate the shot where you covered the litter pollution on the riverbanks and maybe te sight of some poverty right behind the Taj Mahal which is hardly covered in tourists' shots of the location. Everyone just takes shots of the glittering white building and its gardens, all shots looking very mush the same.
I like it that you reversed the perception angle and went to the other side.
Thanks for sharing,

Very authentic faces, Ossie.
All facial features deepened by lifelines and hardship...Very colourful culture also.
Thanks for sharing,

I have to agree -- those shots impress me as giving a real glimpse into the subjects' personalities.
