Industrial abstract

I took this picture in Hungary, when I visited my home town in October. Close to the artificial fertilizer factory, there is an unused water reservoir. The fog with the reflection resulted in this picture. There is not much detail on it but I like more and more:

How do you like it??

It does grow on one's perception indeed, Marcell.

It's one of those shots that are very subtle in effect.

Thanks for sharing,

It's perhaps also due to the positive memories associated with the picture. With my brother we were waiting for the birds to come to the lake and just had a good time there recalling old stories.
Here is another one from the series with more details:

Nice, Marcell. : )

Just enough amount of details without ruining the enchanting look; better than seeing those chimneys in their real form. Pollution makes the front page of this shot with the cause barely hidden...

Good shot to accompany a story in the news.

Thanks for sharing these. We don't know the stories you shared with your brother which maes it a memorable day for you but the shots are quite rich with their own stories, really. : )

You may not have much experience or "a proper lens", but you do have something much more important: a good eye for composition. I think the last shot, especially, is extremely nice. Yes, with a long lens the heron may have filled more of the frame, but I think it works extremely well the way it is. Completely isolated shots can work well for things like identifying birds, but there's also a place for shots that show more of their environment, and this does that quite nicely in my opinion.

Very nice bird shots Marcell. I like the view of the wider environment as well.
