Just come across this in a file today. One of those I'll probably be very lucky to get again! I have lots of birds from this year but this is one of my favourite birds.

Lovely shot Pat. A cracking little bird. I like the feather details and the catch light in the eye. It's a Nuthatch isn't it?

Pat, what a beautiful capture of one of my favorite birds. We have them here too.

Pat, it's probably a female. The red on the males tends to be brighter.
