Cornfield

Below are two images of really huge cornfield which I took back in 2010. Too bad I wasn’t a bit earlier there, I’d have much less shadow in images. I was really disappointed seeing this field in 2011. It was harvested early and looked so ugly that I haven’t taken even a single shot :-)

Nice views Hawk - I love the colour of the corn - it is a perfect colour for late summer. A warmer view than I expect you have been having recently ? :)

Yeah, definitely warmer :-) But actually I like it when its very cold. Weather is stable and usually sunny. It was like that for over a week now, and I got few nice winter photos as well as damn cold which knocked me out for almost a week.

Lovely, Hawk.

I like the first better for its wonderfully scenery but the second is also great for its texture. : )

I've never seen a cornfield from such an elevation before. Requires to be there in the right season and right before harvest, I guess. And since the crop is taller than my full height, there's no point in hoping for such a lovely frame from the roadside. : )) But the ripened corn make for nice photos also...I bet you have some of the closeups also.

Thanks for sharing,

Yildiz

What great countryside you have there - perhaps you'll get another chance this year? :) I like the one with the lovely blue sky the best.
