Found this old oak tree today.

Interesting tree with the moss growing on the branches. The vignetting adds to pick up the viewers gaze and lead it to the tree. Was it added in post?

That is really amazing. The almost luminous green moss surrounded by almost monochrome makes for a striking photo.

Wow is the word. That's one of the best woodland studies I've seen in years. That is poster material.

I'm in a quandary ??

I’m in one of those too, a q whatname, Dennis has what looks like a colour photo too mono conversion with the green channel enhanced, BUT what about the gold stuff up high and the brown around the base etc. one is then left with the realization that it isn’t a mono after all but likely actually looks like that in real life, very unusual apparition it is, it certainly is an attention getter Dennis so I’m calling it an awesome shot.

The picture is not a conversion to BW, but sure i played with the green color in lightroom, I also took some pictures with the bult in filter partial color green
with realy nice outcome.
below u can see the untouched original and the in camrea filter shoots.

Went bye the tree today to take some new pictures from a different angle because we had some rain and the moss was more moist and greener,also got the sun going down in the forest.

The oak tree is a bit 'armful' with the moss indeed. Looks like it's the only one that welcomed the bright green moss with open arms..
