Lincoln Memorial at Dusk

Unread post by Almazar80 »

Tourist season in Washington D.C. The cherry blossoms are in full bloom, the crowds at the Tidal Basin ate enjoying the warm spring air, and traffic is moving slowly. Perfect time to try out the NEX-7. This picture was taken using the kit lens at ISO1600, handheld.

Just trying out a new tool, it turns out I have to clean the sensor first. Just a test shot, really, as I was helping my son with a school project.

Impressive building, very stately, I like the dusky exposure balance with the lighting on the building.

Hi Almazar,

Nice shadow and light balance as Greg already said. Going low on the vantage point also accentuates the perspective.
