Castle "De Haar"

Me, the missus and friends with their two kids were at a festival at castle "De Haar" today. A beautiful maintained castle. I managed a few shots of it. All shot with the NEX3 and Sigma 30mm F2.8 EX DN.
Because of the outdated limitations on this forum for size of images, I had to post smaller ones. All images are clickable for original (and best!) size.

Very nice and beautiful place. Great lens that 30/2.8 Sigma.

these shots a so clear and sharp, naturally sharp. i am well impressed. nex is a champion little camera and no mistake.

Thank you both and you are right Mike, this is all Nex and the Sigma lens. That's the real winner!

Fabulous looking castle Mark and lovely pictures. As Mike and the Doc say, a very promising lens. My favourite pic is the water under the trees - what a wonderful quality of light and shade there is there!

You have given us quite a nice series on that beautiful castle. It looks like the type of place you would read about in some medieval fairytale, with a princess locked up in one of the towers. The surrounding grounds look to be suitable for jousting and archery etc.
The Nex is a great little camera, and you've used it well. I'd like such a small setup, as lugging around the a700 etc. does get a bit tiring at times!

Careful John - those thoughts can lead down a slippery slope to more GAS

Nice series and I love the #6 best. I am with Birma on that one. Looking at these images, I am wondering if I should
wait for A900 successor or go for that Nex7. One thing I am hesitant is that it lacks the built-in flash from what I remember.
If only my HVL20 would work on it....

Sury, as far as I know you can use the HVL20 on NEX-7, there's a hot-shoe on it.
