My kid and girlfriend ( my kid´s mother by the way ) both got the horse bug so they are in the stables 5 days a week... and yesterday there was a big horse jumping / dressage event so i had to follow, so i brought the camera to get some pictures taken.

This one got some muscles

That first horse looks magnificiant Dennis . The second and third shots look full of action and drama. I'm not sure if it is better to have some motion in the pictures to emphasise the movement, or to freeze the subject in mid flight?

I guess jumping horses have to be poweful and fit to last the distance, I've never really followed horse jumping much so I have no idea what breeds they use, but that first one looks impressive.

Great set. I loved the third one best. I could feel the tension in those sinewy muscles of the horse. #1 has great pose and shows the majesty of the animal.
No wonder you want to trade the kingdom for the horse. To me second one would have been wonderful had not the back of the horse is not obstructed
by the hurdles (?). The sheer variety made it more enjoyable for me.

I was on the racetrack today with my family and thought a train on my panning skills to get the speed feeling

Thanks Yildiz i rely like them aswell, and to bee honest i like them better now after a few weeks then i did when i was working with them .

I think they are good too.

Very nice. Your riders are much cleaner and better dressed than the ones I photograph. (Yours haven't been dragged through a muddy rodeo arena by an angry bronco.... ) You have the panning down to perfection. I particularly like the first of the racing shots--the part with the rider staring into the nostrils of the following horse.
