Having a bit of spare time this evening, I tried something different this time. Some PP work was put into this, but I think I've managed to get the sinister effect I wanted.

What do you think?

Interesting image Mark - I like the lighting and the dof.

Awesome image Mark. Those out of focus heads do make it rather sinister! John

You have succeeded in achieving the sinister look Mark. I am curious to know what you did.

Hi sury,
Thank you very much.
I haven't done too much PP. The most important part of the image is the narrow DOF and the sharp center figure. Once I took the shot, I did the following:
- convert the image to black and white
- +14 saturation to the color blue
- + 20 clarity
- dodge and burn the center figure
- Sharpness +50
- added +100 vignetting
All done in LR4.1.

Going into cinematography, Mark?
There's quite the staging of the mood and feel in this shot; definitely sinister.
Thanks for sharing,
Yildiz
