Old Faithful, Yellowstone National Park

The oft photographed, oft visited touchstone of Yellowstone, Old Faithful. It may not be the most impressive part of the park, but no visit is complete without seeing the geyser erupt.

Old Faithful is still at it. Nice capture. Could a wider angle landscape to show the scale of the geyser eruptions
have been more dramatic and illustrating? Just wondering.

I don’t get tired of seeing photos of ‘Old Faithful’ because I’ve only seen a few. I suppose you have to be careful as well the water must be very hot to spurt like that

I have never seen the real thing but these shots must be the next best thing. Thanks for sharing. The backlight is nice. I think that a wideangle view might not have the same impact as these do.

The pattern in the windswept looks a bit like a zigzag, pretty cool.
