Toronto Dawn

I recently took some shots of the sun rising over Toronto. These were taken from my hotel window in Oakville. I just checked out the distance using the Google Earth ruler, and found that the distance to the CN Tower was 27.0 km (16.8 miles). It surprises me that one can get such detail over that distance!

Nice shot. Like the silhouetted skyline. Tell you what, let's make this a Toronto thread - unless you're Michael Reichmann....
Since it's in your shot....

And as a bit of a change .... Inside the Eaton Center.

Toronto Sunrise is very attractive, Dewarp.
The Sun appears so big against the fragile silhouettes of the urban skyline.
Thanks for sharing,

Beautiful shot dewarp... I love how the reflection of the red sky helps silhouette the foreground buildings. John

Pictures of sunrises or sunsets have to be exceptional to work.....and this is. It would be a rare day in the UK when the atmosphere was clear enough to get something like this at nearly 17 miles.
