I've been going through a photographic dry patch; nothing inspiring me to take the camera out. Last weekend the sunshine on the leaves that are starting to change colours tempted me out.

Don't be so sure. Forgot the a99?

No mirror in the a99. However, I am more referring to the NEX line which I find very intriguing.

#2 for me, it feels as if your there looking in at it, the colours and light and shade are so true to life

Hope you can keep those colours around for a couple weeks Mike, as I have a trip North planned at he end of the month. I hear hat the heather has been amazing this year , over on the west coast anyway.

Yes the heather was pretty good a few weeks ago in the deeside area so I'd guess the same in most areas.

Heavy showers and winds last weekend have caused a lot of leaves to drop. Still plenty though.
