Aberdeen sploosh with the RX100

We'd popped out to the vets for a new prescription for the dog so went home via Donmouth beach which was pretty wild. Whilst there we could see some rather large "sploosh" by the harbour so we drove across to the Torry Battery and walked to the breakwater. Loads of people about fascinated by the power of the sea.
Far better than planes on a grey day. A couple of ships came and went which made us a wee bit sea sick.
The poor Pilot boat was being tossed about all over the place.
All taken as JPG only and tweaked in LR4.2.

And a nice boat came in, the Ernest Shackleton registered in Stanley, Falkland Islands.

Very nice photos. It seems to me that the RX100 is a very capable camera in a good photographer's hand.

Cheers

To be fair, it can take good images in just about anyones hands. Some of my shots were on aperture priority and others on P so potentially my grandkids could take good ones with full auto. It comes down to whether you want to let them loose with an expensive camera!

Did I mention I would gladly hang the first shot on the wall?

I think the wife is looking for suitable wall space for it already!
