Long exposure in night street...

I was driving that night ... and got the idea to park on the side and put the camera directly on the road to get this angle of view :-) :

I agree with Andy about the POV. I am curious if the exposure had been for slightly less duration,
would the streaks of light been sharper?

How did you get those yellow lights to streak? From what I can make up from the image, those are some form of non-moving lights (no car or anything). Were you moving when you took it?

The objective of the picture was to mix different kind of light for a 30s exposure. So the flashing yellow light on the top of the service truck was a gift :-).

Of answering previous question, I think doing shorter exposure will have not affect the length of the yellow light but simply less number of repetition. Because the ISO, and aperture are the same.

Oh sjeez, I would never had guessed those yellow lights were from the truck! I though they were attached to the beam/bridge over the road.
