Peter, since we visit these threads frequently anyway, you are covered.

Great shots, by the way.

Those are fabulous Peter. On their own they are great landscape shots (I really like the different components in the picture) but having the two shots to compare is more than the sum of its parts, as they say :) . The ruined shack / house is interesting - how come no one lives in this fabulous spot?

A reprise of a previous dawn shoot. My only excuse is that the grass has grown a bit since the last time :)

Andy,
It looks like a composite of two images to me. I am not able to reconcile
the abrupt transition between the sharp foreground grass and the foggy background.
It is neither a criticism nor a critique. Just my feeling.

Hi Sury - thanks for your thoughts. I was aiming to get that transition between the foreground and the background. Perhaps in retrospect the split is too 50/50.

Perhaps, f5.6 instead of f8?

A path through the wood, surrounded by Bluebells and Ramsons.

Andy,
Your landscapes can be described in one word: Poetic.

Scenes and landscapes with a 70-300 zoom now Birma?
At first I wasn’t sure if I liked the grass stalks and hazy trees in the background, but it’s sort of grown on me now. I see the white Ransoms are crowding the Bluebells a bit, a pretty neat natural flower garden and a pleasant scene, will they be around for a while yet?

Thank you very much Sury and Greg :) I can't believe the Bluebells will last much longer Greg. The Ramsons have just come out so should have a week or two to go.

Very nice looking hotel Ravinderrainger - looks like a nice place to stay - good views!

Here is another 70mm Landscape ;)
