A cloudy day at Arches, a 1.7 hour hike and we see this:
And a more conventional image
I love the American southwest. Thanks for looking.

Nicely done, I like the unusual angle/composition.

I like the unusual view as well with the cloud backdrop, I'd feel a little uneasy with the way all that tackle seems to be balenced (standing right under it).

Very attractive shot!
Neat showing the delicate yet tons-heavy rock formation as though afloat like a feather in midair against a sky background.
Thanks for sharing,

I was at Arches National Park and Moab about 25 years ago. Desolate but fantastic place.
Great angle, and I request for a full view, for old times sake.
With best regards,
Sury

Thank you for the comments. I posted a more conventional image of Delicate Arch - a site well worth hiking to.

Great going! Thanks for posting.
Yes, the American Southwest is stupendous! Even if a person is not into landscape photography, or any photography even, it is a place well worth a visit. I have been to most of the national parks and national monuments there several times and always look forward to going back.
