Here's my Aunt and the daughter we named after her, taken on our visit just before Easter.

Precious Dusty. It is a keeper. I would have liked the background a tad less brighter to
"pop" aunt and her grand niece.

Well, it's a house with white walls, and an Aunt that doesn't like her picture taken. I can tell she was really thrilled about meeting Lilly, as when we got the 3 (and last) picture taken with her - My 2 aunts, 2 of my sisters and myself - she called Lilly to come sit on her lap for it.

None of the shots are great, but they're keeps because of the people in them, and the fact that we might not see them again this side of Heaven.

You are right Dusty. I am with you. They are keepers. There is no two ways about it.

Richard,
You certainly captured the lack of crowds at that fair. If you did not mention it, I would
have thought you captured them after the end of the day closing.

Surprisingly timeless pictures Richard - could be anytime since the mid 20th century I'd say, especially with that pram :)

So, how is the world of FF SLT grabbing you?

Thanks Sury and Birma.

I only got the A99 on Friday last week (my A900 has gone to the big camera shop in the sky but was, fortunately, insured) so am still getting used to it - but liking it a lot so far! Focusing seems a lot faster and far better than the A900 at higher ISO levels. Here's a couple from the weekend with it - a touch of ancient and modern!

Nice juxtaposition Richard. I guess both were/are intended for looking to sky. :)

Sweet angle in that second shot! I like the contrast between the clouds and the static dish.

Have fun with your new camera!

Great shots. The one of the dish is excellent.
Between the two pictures it's an excellent contrast and comparison of the old with the new.

That's a stunning shot Mark, great processing! I fear we have cloud for tonight's super moon :(

The Netherlands is the same Andy. I feel your pain.

This shot is from our Madeiran holiday a few weeks back. Nice, clean air there.

Thank you for the kind words! Mark
