We went to an air show yesterday, Everything went wrong, we arrived late at the wrong part of the park where the air show was. I had been told the centre of the show (best viewing point) was further east than it was. the show started at 1pm and the crowd faces south so it would have been better to be west of the show shooting into the darker area of the sky because of the late afternoon sun. none the less.. the planes need a large area to operate in and I came away with some pictures I was happy with just the same.

I like the first one too.
The other 2 shots need a bit of sharpening IMO.

I don't think theres much help for these ones. even if I add just a touch they look over sharpened. Jpegs eh ...

That last image is very good! How did you forget it?

it's one frame from about 4 in a row. I just used LR to recover some of the lost highlights and jacked up the saturation and sharpness. otherwise it looked the same as the last one before I started. but it's more centered in the frame. Actually I post these trying to Gage which of the hundreds I have are better than others. someone on DPR suggested I try and recover highlights and the Doc suggested sharpening so it was a productive post

I think the size they have to be resized to makes a difference too. I think the one you saw was just a few pixels bigger and it made a big difference. I have some carousel pictures I should post because I thingtheres a bew that are gems.. could be wrong though
