I took Elizabeth out for the youth deer hunt this weekend. Sunday evening, she took her best shot on a 4 point buck and connected. (This after missing a nice doe in the morning).
This was her second hunt and the first time she actually got to shoot at a deer. She's rightfully proud of herself, as am I . She held up to the weather and even navigated back to base camp on her own to get someone with a quad to help pull it out of the woods.
Here are the results!
The Proud Hunter:
Mugging for the camera:
"They have to see where the guts were."
And finally, showing off the horns.
Elizabeth's best shot.
