Ken, just wondering if the wind ever blows where you are from? Of course if anything happens, it's good to know that the troopers are never far away. ;)

That must have been something driving next to that bank in the first picture. That's quite the ground blizzard.

Hi The Hefay,

Impressive Nebula and Jupiter shots.

Hi Ken,

:) That's some road to drive on! Weather really shows in all respects. The second is a little more interesting with a differring colour range. I almost thought that you shot it through a vehicle's windshield which has sun-protective colouring.

Thanks for sharing,

These are for information rather than "art"
Today the West cost of Eire was hit with an astonishing storm with winds snapping trees like twigs, and pulling slates off the roof.

Storm is over the UK now and it's a bad one

My advice stay inside if possible. Roof took a bit of damage today, others fared far worse

Ouch! Good advice Barry! My daughter was being given a lift home by friends today after the school closed early due to floods when their car was hit by a falling tree - everyone was fine but obviously shaken up and their car is a mess :( . Worcester is down to one bridge and lots of minor roads closed by water and/or fallen trees.

Although the weather is bad the colour of light in that picture is wonderful Valery.

I'm a bit late posting this, but it gives a good impression of the weather on the Scottish west coast for a lot of last week. We managed to get out and about everyday, but there was an awful lot of rain about! Some of the rivers and streams were at their highest in living memory. Fortunately you're never very far from the sea on Skye and so the water can run off quickly.

Weather In Istanbul:Now
Mostly Cloudy
Temperature:5 °C; Feels Like 1 °C
Wind(km/h):22
-------------------------------------------------

I'm watching in awe like many, as the world weather is showing some awkard and unusual conditions for us humans to endure. The photos you shared here are amazing each in its own way. I don't remember a time when so many different disasters hit over the same days in different part of world.

Istanbul has no hail or storm, nor any floods or trees falling like frail toothpicks but we have this very fog which has decided to stay with us over two months now, only changing in density. Many flights were cancelled due to limited visibility.

Thanks for sharing everyone. Mine is a breeze compared to your local weather....

Shocking flooded lane Richard, but a great picture.

We'd call that fog a "pea-souper" as it is so thick, Yildiz :) . Two months! You must be missing the sun and the marvellous views over the Bosphorus.
