That seems like a pleasant place Sury, :) I like the big rock sticking up out of the sea the green rolling hills and the little flowers, very nice.

Thank you Andy, Valery and Greg. Here is a bit more info. on
Morro Rock.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Morro_Rock

The image below is of Brixby Bridge on Highway 1. It is one of iconic bridges on Highway 1 in
California. Did I say I shot them RAW. I am beginning to appreciate the RAW images for expanding
DR of a Landscape.

This one is NOT the Brixby Bridge but one few miles south of it. No name, but just as beautiful.

Nice views Sury, I agree on the RAW processed images for sure, it seems to have gotten rid of that haze that used to be in a few of your photos (I used to think it was the lens) and now they are much improved indeed.
That area seems to lend itself to a PAN or two also, landscape or portrait.

Fabulous views, Sury - I especially like the first shot - great colours and the sea and a fabulous view down the coast. Go RAW! :)

From yesterday, shot with the RX100 hanging above the ditch on a monopod.

Great to see some awesome landscapes here.

Here in East Anglia UK the rape fields are quite spectacular with their amazingly vibrant colours. Her are a couple of shots taken yesterday.

I am glad there was no glitch on your monopod over the ditch, Mark. Nice shot.

Very impressive shots Ossie. Are they also called Flax seeds? Just curious.

Wow Ossie, what a bright yellow field! I like the second one best for the big contrast between the yellow and the clouds.

@Sury, the names of the photos suggest it's Rapeseed (Brassica napus) you're looking at.

Sury and mvanrheenen thank you.

Parts of East Anglia appear to have disappeared under a sea of yellow.

Here is one more shot from my day out on Sunday

Ossie, one more nice shot but I am somewhat ambivalent about the tower.

Great perspective over the ditch, Mark :)

Love the yellow fields Ossie - there are a lot around our way but is finding the right place to get the shot which I find a challenge.

Sury - it is called Oil Seed Rape. See here http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rapeseed. It is a key ingredient in a lot of vegetable oil based products. Flax is less commonly grown commercially in the uk and is typically a sky blue colour I think.
