Drive Through Redwood Tree

These are from a recent weekend jaunt to Redwood Forest in Northern California.

A neat experience of 'pass-through' for any driver too. Looks like a healthy tree. Is it actually alive at the upper part too?

That is very cool! I have seen photos of that tree or some other tree that is the same, but I have never seen it myself.
