Wow those are really nice. #2 is my fav. I never imagined that cacti growing in the wild would be so attractive. Do they all flower at the same time? That would look amazing.

Compliments to the photog wife Sury, those are great, I think I like #1 the best with all those spikes.

Great stuff Sury. I had no idea that cacti lit up with flowers like this.

Your wife got many good photos of the varied types of cactus in Arizona. Did she get any of the huge saquaro cactus also?

Henry,
Unfortunately no. We were there barely for 6 hours and had drive back to Phoenix. Missed visiting
the Saguaro National Park and also could not stop roadside to take a few shots. I was happy she
decided to use the camera. Her normal choice and typical equipment would have been her iPhone.

Well I think she might see the improvement in the shots Sury, those look pretty good I think, nice variety too even though some are the same species they are still different enough in the photos to be a unique view, nice exposure too.

As I am reading the comments, I realize there may be an error in my approach
in trying to get her and others in the family to be interested in photography. I
was giving them kit lenses and have them try. Instead I should give them some
good glass (as in this case she was shooting with CZ24-70) which is more forgiving
and give you good results despite the photographer. Nothing is addictive like success.

At least you have her trying.........I tryed to get my wife to go with the a330 when I ot the a700. She seems to have no interest in doing so.
