Sometimes the background of my macro and close-up photos can be distractive, so I used today some colored sheets as background. What do you think? Is it too unnatural or it some merit has ??

Hi Marcell, lovely shots as always. I think the blue colour you have chosen works quite well as it could almost be blue sky. I know one flower specialist who uses a black sheet. This is very good at making the subject stand out. Other people use white. I think perhaps it depends where you expect to display the pictures. White looks great on paper and in books, black on the screen. I like the challenge of making the natural background attractive and complementary.
