Lunar Eclipse April 2014

Unread post by sury »

About 400 images, in groups of 6, 8, 15 capturing various stages of Eclipse, stitched each group using MS ICE, believe it or not, and layered 30 of the stitches in PS, post processed. I could have done better, no doubt, but here it is...

Wow Sury, that is an amazing sequence! Brilliant stuff. I've not seen that done before - great idea.

I think that would make a fantastic print for the wall. Some poster seller should be banging on your door for that one :)

Ps We did have the event here but it was half over when it came up in the east and there was cloud down near the horizon as well, so I didn’t bother with it too much, I had seen a couple of those before anyway when they were more overhead and were worth watching for sure, watching the moon go dull brownish red is definitely something different.
