Learning to use the A77II

I recently purchased an A77II and am in the process of learning how to use it. I also ended up getting a Jobu Jr 3 gimbal head because I wanted to learn how to photograph birds in flight (plus, I didn't think I was actually going to win the bid on ebay, the price was really nice). Here are some pictures taken with the A77II and my trusty (although a little slow focusing) 70-400G (which I am finally using a lot more).
1. Point of Focus
2. Touchdown
And with the light going down, at ISO1600, I was unable to stop motion (and I have a lot to learn about bird photography - the image is kind of noisy)
3. Hummingbird
Thanks for looking.

Great shots. #2, #3 and #1 are my choices, if I were to pick them.
Apart from photographer, what aspect of the camera, do you think
helped you get those money shots? Just curious.

The ability to focus quickly (and more assuredly) was great. Of course, it could just be wanting to believe in my own expectation. More importantly, though, it made me go out and try to take pictures that I haven't tried to take before (on a more serious fashion). And lastly, it is a fun camera to use (though I haven't even tried the different focus modes). A lot more to learn.

Congratulations on the new camera Almazar.
I especially like #2; great point of view, focus looks spot on and wonderful light and background.

Great set.. 1 and 2 are my faves.. I've been tempted by the a77 II, but I will probably go FF with my next upgrade.. I can't wait to see more from you and the a77 II..

Lovely shots. I use the 70-400G a lot and it is a great lens but very little close up subjects.
Nice to see it is useful for this kind of photography as well.
