Nice shots. It looks like a lot of work for those "gardeners" though. o_O

Huh, awesome installation!! I like the first one and the last one (with man). Actually the last one is best, because this installation needs a bit distance to work best. Great work with these pictures!

Re: Blood Swept Lands and Seas of Red
It's an amazing I installation. It's been impossible to get near it at popular times and I think I heard they are extending the deadline for dismantling it. Each poppy has been sold and raised a lot for ex-servicemen. A great idea.

Very interesting installation and your photos capture it really well. Thanks for bringing it to our attention.

Re: Blood Swept Lands and Seas of Red
I wonder if anyone has been able to get a drone in to take an elevated view of the poppies.

Re: Blood Swept Lands and Seas of Red
I don't know about a drone but perhaps a helicopter. This was my best attempt from the viewing platform on the 72nd floor of the Shard through glass and rain drops on the window.the_hefay wrote:I wonder if anyone has been able to get a drone in to take an elevated view of the poppies.

Keith,
Nice shot. Certainly gives you the feel for the scale knowing what that
"red carpet" contains.
