Buff-tailed Coronet with Sony a6000
I don't plan on doing a lot of bird photography with a 24mm 1.8 lens but here's a Buff-tailed Coronet that agreed to pose. Unfortunately I couldn't reduce the flash any further.

Nice capture, Pitter. I would settle for this than not get any...

P.S. A bit of elbow grease in LR/PS can certainly benefit the shot, IMHO.

Thank you Sury. I may invest in a separate flash unit that is more adjustable.

Here are some more shots of the Buff-tailed and a Fawn-breasted Brilliant, this time without flash. I don't usually take hummingbird photos at feeders but it was the only way to get close enough for reasonable detail with the Sony-Zeiss 24mm 1.8 lens.

Those are some nice crisp shots Pitter.

Here's a better one of the Coronet. I set the a6000 on manual and was shooting (I think) at 1/500.
