My daughter - candid

Unread post by sury »

With recently acquired 50HX-V. I was testing the zoom feature and thought this one
might lend itself well to B&W treatment. I used Holga-ish on Picasa with blurred edges.
All C&C are welcome, as always.

It's a pleasing result but I would have liked her face further to the right in the frame. What is 50HX-V?

Oh it's just a matter of taste, not a big deal at all. Thanks for identifying the camera. I didn't recognize it.

I just checked out a YouTube review: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3Hx193HwpZ0
I'll buy anything she's selling!

I wish I could say I bought after "seeing" the review, Pitter.
It is a nice little camera, for sure.

Seems like you've been in quite rough circumstances regarding the light. Most of the time b&w conversion works, like here as well. I think the vignetting is a bit strong, but I like your initial idea of processing it rough. Fits the picture.
