Hi Yilditz
Is there any HDR applied to these shots, so that the foreground was nicely showered with light while the rainy sky was gradually darkening in the background as in the 3rd shot?
Thank you for your comments. I was just lucky to be there at the right time. The sun caught the yellow flowers of the gorse and lit them up. The dark clouds behind just seemed to emphasise the scene. There is a little pp in lightroom but no HDR treatment.

Love the gorse against the stormy, brooding sky :)

Superb colors Andy. You are back in full form. The soft yellow contrasting dark clouds is just fantastic.

Birma, Wow! Simply beautiful. Your images from Skye are inspirational. Haven't visited yet but I really must get my act into gear and go there.

ValeryD Lovely images. They bring back memories of a great trip on the "Canadian" from Vancouver across to Toronto.

Hi JBTaylor;

That's one tranquil scene! Lovely feeling of being suspended over the water for the viewer. The monochrome colours work nicely.
Thanks for sharing.

Hi Birma;

"Feb - Moll Cottage" shot promises more than an unusually white, romantic-looking hide-away structure, Andy; the overall shot is a significant testimony what Isle of Skye's natural setting can offer to all living creatures, including a photography-skilled species called human beings. Your shots are invites to all lovers of nature and photography. :D
Thanks for sharing.

Hi Valery;

Beautiful. The gravity-defying solitary tree against its more vertical kind with that lovely building half-hidden amongst them is my favourite. And the fish-eye shot of the raging stream/waterfall is gorgeous. Nice places to shoot.
Thanks for sharing.

Beautiful shots everyone. Here's a couple from 2013 that I came across this morning. This is the Oregon coast in the Tillamook area.

Nice shots Valery. I love the slanted tree the most.
Jeff, I visited Tillamook long time ago with my mom who was visiting from India.
That trip was the last time I spent quality time with my mom and all those memories
are special for me. Anyway, getting back to present, I like the second one with
Sun sneaking through those two structures. If only, the reflected light is somewhat
reduced, it would enhance it further, IMHO.

Thanks for your comments everyone - much appreciated :)

That leaning tree is a great accent in Sioux Narrows, Valery.

Love the beach scenes The_Hefay; great with the wind blown sand, and the low light over the sand in the second one.

Valery I really like the second shot. It reminds me of something I might see driving through the mountains here in Wyoming.
