Landscape 2015

Unread post by Birma »

A new year and a new landscape thread! :)

These were taken in the last few days of 2014, but I only got around to posting them today. An early morning on the Malvern Hills on a rather frosty morning.

Nice shots Andy. It almost seems like the first one is present and the second one
a sign of things to come.

Birma I'm not sure which I admire the most the photos or the courage of the photographer but they sure are nice postcards from your neck of the woods.

Those are terrific. Really communicate a sense of the place.

Thank you Sury, Greg and Pitter :)

Greg, a few minutes after getting out of my car I was sweating due to the incline and was shedding clothes for a while. It was a bit chillier once I'd stood still for a bit though. ;)

Pismo Beach, Monarch Grove. On a crisp wintery evening without any fog, California coast line is as
best as it comes. Seeing is believing.

Andy, those are superb shots. The misty layers in the second shot are lovely.

Sury, that's a beautiful sunset. I'm hoping to see a couple of good sunsets/sunrises soon because it's been a while since we've had any colorful ones around here and I'm having withdrawals.

Thanks the Hefay :)

Wow, what a sunset, Sury! I really like the way that little creek reflects the colours and leads you in to the picture. There are some vague vertical lines on the extreme left side of the picture - not sure if they are some artefact, or part of your water mark?

They are artifacts, Andy. I thought I cropped it. Thanks for catching it.
