Excellent shot Pitter. Great details in the branch, bird in focus against that nice green background.

Agreed, lovely soft background makes the bird stand out.

Fantastic Pitter. You have a lot of great detail in your other bird shots, but the composition of this one makes it stand out above the others.

Nicely done, indeed, Pitter.

Always a pleasure to see your command on bird shots; nice composition and always some different species that you unite us, visually with.
I like the background bokeh as well. The white plumage of the birds frontal body is difficult in terms of getting more details when compared to other bird shots but other aspects make up for the loss detail.

Thanks for sharing,

Thank you Hefay and Yildiz. Yes it would have been nice to get detail on the white but I didn't manage that.

I am amazed how close you get to these birds with that 24mm. Beautiful colors and Nature at work in full glory.

Good heavens no! The lens I use for birds is a 400 5.6. I would truly love a lens like that for my a6000 but I suspect that will be a long time coming.

Oh, ok. Now I feel less envious of you. Since you always had a6000 and 24 1.8 I presumed that was the lens. My mistake.
